Visiting Zircar Zirconia, Inc. at 87 Meadow Rd in Florida, NY

The village of Florida, New York is located in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York, approximately half way between New York City and Albany.  The city of Newburgh, where Interstate Highways 84 and 87 (NYS Thruway) intersect, is nearby.  The Newburgh, White Plains, Albany, Newark and New York City airports are all within 2 hours of our office.

By Car

To drive to our offices, take I-84 to Route 17 East (future I-86) towards New York City.  Take the Goshen exit # 124.  Take Rt 17A west towards the village of Florida.  Turn right at the first traffic light in Florida at the Dunkin Donuts.  Follow this road (Meadow Road) for 0.6 miles and you will find our offices on the left hand side after the big S-turn.

Stewart Newburgh Airport (~1/2 hour)

The nearest airport is Stewart International Airport (SWF) in Newburgh, NY   Our offices are approximately 30-40 minutes west of the airport.  Take Route 207 west by turning right when you leave the airport access road, Bruenig Rd.  Proceed ~ 15 miles west to the village of Goshen.  At the traffic light in the middle of town, turn left continuing on Rt 207, now headed towards entrances to Route 17, the Southern Tier Expressway and the future Interstate 86.  Go straight over the expressway and Rt 207 has now become Route 17A.  Follow this for 5 miles to the Village of Florida. At the first traffic light in the village, turn right (at Dunkin Donuts) and proceed 0.6 miles on Meadow Road, our offices are on the left.

JFK International Airport (>2 hours)

John F. Kennedy (JFK) airport is the furthest away and the one most likely to have traffic delays amongst our recommended airports.   There are many different routes between JFK and our offices.  Listen to 1010 on the AM dial for traffic news. We suggest taking the Van Wyck Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway East. This exit is from the left hand lane and leads to La Guardia Airport.  Continued below.

LaGuardia Airport (1.5 hours)

From LaGuardia (LGA) take the Grand Central Parkway East to the Tri-Borough Bridge (pay toll).  After the bridge, stay left and follow the Van Deegan Expressway (87) to Albany/Upstate NY.  After passing Yankee Stadium, there is an exit for I-87 NYS Thruway North to Albany you must follow. You will cross the Tappan Zee Bridge at the half-way point of this journey.  Continue on I-87 North to exit #16 for  Harriman Rt 6/Rt 17.  Follow Rt 17 West towards Middletown for 20 minutes to exit 126 in Chester. Make a left onto Rt 94 West at the top of the ramp.  Follow Rt 94 west for ~5 miles to a traffic light where 17A intersects 94.  Go straight through the intersection onto Meadow Road and proceed 0.6 miles to our offices.

Newark Liberty International Airport (1.25 hours)

Newark Airport (EWR) is the easiest of the major airports to drive from because you do not have to experience any of the traffic delays associated with the major bridge or tunnel crossings.  As with JFK, there are several possible routes.  We recommend taking Routes1&9 North to the New Jersey Turnpike North . Stay left after the toll booth then a quick right towards exits 14-18 West.  From the New Jersey Turnpike take the exit for the Meadowlands Sports Complex.  Head west on Rt 3 for about 5 minutes and then take the Route 17 North exit.  Follow 17 North for about ½ hour through northern New Jersey to the New York State border where you will get on I-87 (NYS Thruway) North.  Continue on I-87 North to the Harriman/Woodbury Commons Rt 17 exit.  Pay $0.50 toll.  Follow Rt 17 West for 20 minutes to exit 126 in Chester. Make a left onto Rt 94 West at the top of the ramp.  Follow Rt 94 west for ~5 miles to a traffic light where 17A intersects 94.  Go straight through the intersection onto Meadow Road and proceed 0.6 miles to our offices.
